I have been a continual supporter of the Susan G Komen Foundation for the Cure for some time and in 2010 I decided to take it to a new level. I have always like to ‘give back’ and ‘do more’, but I felt an urge (a calling) to do more…so that I did!
I decided to join the fight through the Passionately Pink for the Cure Campaign. This initiative encourages people to have fundraisers and event with a Pink theme to raise awareness and funding for the Cure. I created the PURPOSED FOR PINK TEAM! This is an open group for anyone who is willing to donate a little time and money for the fight against breast cancer.
Susan G. Komen Passionately Pink for the Cure® supports life-saving research, education, screenings and treatment programs in the fight to end breast cancer forever. I am on a personal mission to raise money and awareness to help the fight against Breast Cancer!
I will have an annual PINK PARTY event and I hope that every year more and more people committ to get involved to make a difference.
